Bob’s Lore accepts no responsibility for shirts that fit like a tent, cling like a bad decision, or restrict movement during Tuesday-related leg incidents.

Measure yourself, compare carefully, and remember: confidence is not a size.

If in doubt, size up. You can always look relaxed. You cannot always breathe.

- Double-needle stitching at the collar, shoulders, armholes, cuffs and hem for additional durability.

Product Care

- Wash inside out with similar colours to protect the Pumpkin Jousting back print. The LHS considers unnecessary damage to the official sporting emblem an avoidable cultural incident.
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, following the sewn-in care label. The garment has no requirement to participate in additional physical contests during laundering.
- Use a mild detergent. Harsh chemicals are unnecessary, even when the results of the latest Pumpkin Jousting tournament remain disputed.
- Do not bleach. The orange lettering and grinning pumpkin should remain clearly visible for historical documentation.
- Hang dry where possible to preserve the hoodie's shape and back print, or tumble dry on low heat if permitted by the garment's care label.
- Do not iron directly over the Pumpkin Jousting artwork. Applying excessive heat to the pumpkin will not improve its competitive performance.
- If ironing is necessary, turn the hoodie inside out and use a low temperature suitable for the cotton-polyester blend, avoiding direct pressure on the print.
- Do not dry clean unless permitted by the garment's care label. The LHS does not currently operate a Professional Agricultural Sporting Garment Restoration Department.
- Avoid washing with exposed zips, sharp objects or abrasive items that could damage the large back print.
- Empty the front pouch pocket before washing. Check for phones, keys, snacks, loose stones and any suspicious items collected during a community sporting event.
- Do not wash with sticks, jousting equipment, carving tools or loose pumpkins. The washing machine is not a recognised Pumpkin Jousting arena.
- Do not use the hoodie as protective equipment during any physical competition.
- Do not attempt to remove the printed pumpkin and enter it into a tournament. The artwork is decorative and has no recognised sporting eligibility.
- If the print begins to fade, review your washing habits before accusing the referee of interfering with the official sporting emblem.
- Do not attempt to restore faded artwork by declaring an emergency Pumpkin Jousting tournament. The Society has found no evidence that agricultural combat improves textile maintenance.
- Do not store actual pumpkins in the front pouch pocket. The garment has not been designed for agricultural transportation.
- If somebody asks why you're wearing a pumpkin with crossed bones, the LHS recommends explaining that it's a sporting tradition rather than an invitation to engage in physical combat.
- If the garment shrinks, consult the care label before blaming the opposing competitor, an unexpected Tuesday or a disputed referee decision.
- Remember, sensible garment care preserves the artwork. Sensible sporting behaviour may preserve considerably more important things.
- The Livonia Historical Society accepts no responsibility for damaged prints, bruised pride, disputed victories, missing pumpkins or anyone discovering that Pumpkin Jousting is considerably more complicated than it first appears.
- Final maintenance classification: Pumpkin intact. Bones crossed. Sporting honour preserved. Dignity unconfirmed.

Seasonal Combat. Agricultural Honour. Deeply Questionable Sporting Excellence.

Throughout history, humanity has developed many noble sporting traditions.

Fencing.

Archery.

Wrestling.

Jousting.

Activities requiring discipline, courage, training and a reasonable understanding of the rules.

And then there's Pumpkin Jousting.

THE SPORT NOBODY ASKED FOR.

A proud tradition involving pumpkins, sticks, questionable balance and the sort of competitive spirit normally associated with people who should probably have gone home several hours earlier.

It is a sport.

It is a ceremony.

It is an important part of the wider Bobes Lore cultural landscape.

And it is probably responsible for several incidents that would be difficult to explain to an insurance company.

WELCOME TO THE ARENA.

Two competitors enter.

One contest begins.

Pumpkins are respected.

Sticks are raised.

Spectators gather.

And dignity immediately leaves the premises.

The winner will be remembered.

The loser may require assistance.

And the Livonia Historical Society will almost certainly record the event in considerably more detail than it deserves.

THE ORIGINS OF AGRICULTURAL COMBAT.

Pumpkin Jousting was developed through the extraordinary creativity of Dug and the wider community's remarkable ability to turn almost anything into a competitive activity.

It is one of those traditions that makes perfect sense once you've spent enough time among the Bellends.

To an outsider, the concept may appear unusual.

Perhaps even ridiculous.

Some might question why pumpkins are involved.

Others may ask whether the sticks are strictly necessary.

And a particularly sensible observer might suggest that the entire activity should probably be reconsidered.

The Livonia Historical Society has reviewed these concerns.

Its response is straightforward.

IT'S TRADITION.

Further explanation is unnecessary.

Although several lengthy explanations are available.

Most of them contradict each other.

THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT.

Pumpkin Jousting is not simply a matter of running around with seasonal vegetables.

There are rules.

Standards.

Expectations.

And a remarkable amount of confidence that everybody understands what is happening.

The precise wording may vary depending on the arena, the competitors and whether anybody remembered to write the rules down.

But the fundamental principle remains.

Two competitors.

One contest.

A combination of courage, positioning, timing and agricultural enthusiasm.

Victory may be determined by superior technique.

Better balance.

A decisive demonstration of skill.

Or an opponent falling over in a manner that everyone agrees looked convincing.

In the MUFF sporting tradition, taking a knee may also signify submission.

Although whether the knee was taken voluntarily, accidentally or because somebody's legs have stopped cooperating remains a matter for the officials.

THE REFEREE'S DECISION IS FINAL.

Unless somebody disputes it.

Which is extremely likely.

THE GREAT PUMPKIN QUESTION.

Of course, the pumpkin itself occupies a position of enormous cultural importance.

It is not simply a vegetable.

It is a symbol.

An emblem of competition.

A representation of seasonal sporting excellence.

And occasionally an object that somebody has become unnecessarily attached to.

The LHS has considered whether pumpkins should be treated as official sporting equipment.

The answer is yes.

It has also considered whether they should be given ceremonial titles.

The answer remains under review.

One suggestion involved awarding each pumpkin an individual registration number.

Another proposed a formal agricultural inspection before every contest.

A third suggested allowing competitors to name their pumpkins.

Unfortunately, this resulted in somebody becoming emotionally invested in a vegetable.

The proposal was suspended.

THE PUMPKIN MUST REMAIN NEUTRAL.

At least until the competition begins.

THE MYSHKINO SPORTING ERA.

As the community gathered in Myshkino under the banner of the Myshkino Unsupervised Fellowship Federation, Pumpkin Jousting found a natural home among a collection of equally questionable recreational activities.

The MUFF games celebrated friendship, fellowship and the noble art of fucking about.

There were competitions.

There were spectators.

There were creative interpretations of sporting achievement.

And there were almost certainly moments when somebody should have reconsidered the wisdom of what they were doing.

Pumpkin Jousting was particularly well suited to the occasion.

After all, what better way to bring a community together than inviting two people to engage in ceremonial agricultural combat while everybody else cheers them on?

The answer, according to the Society, is that there are probably several better ways.

But none quite as entertaining.

FRIENDSHIP. FELLOWSHIP. FUCKING ABOUT.

The Three Fs.

Now with additional pumpkins.

THE TUESDAY CONNECTION.

Of course, any activity involving sticks, questionable balance and enthusiastic participants raises an important question.

Is it Tuesday?

Pumpkin Jousting is not officially a Tuesday.

It is a separate cultural tradition.

With its own rules.

Its own sporting significance.

And its own opportunities for somebody to make an extremely poor decision.

Nevertheless, the similarities are difficult to ignore.

Both traditions involve trust.

Both involve unexpected developments.

Both have the potential to result in somebody lying on the ground questioning their friendships.

And both are considerably more entertaining to the people watching than to the person currently attempting to stand up.

The LHS therefore classifies Pumpkin Jousting as Tuesday-adjacent.

Not officially Tuesday.

Not automatically Tuesday.

And certainly not an excuse to ignore the established Tuesday rules.

But sufficiently close that the medical supplies should probably be checked.

THE SPLINTS ARE NOT DECORATIVE.

THE ROLE OF THE SPECTATOR.

Every great sport needs an audience.

People to cheer.

People to encourage.

People to offer completely unhelpful tactical advice.

And people who will confidently explain the rules despite having learned them approximately thirty seconds earlier.

Pumpkin Jousting is no different.

The spectators are essential.

Without them, how would anybody know who won?

How would disputes be settled?

Who would laugh when somebody fell over?

And most importantly, who would inform the Livonia Historical Society that something historically significant had occurred?

The Society considers spectators a vital component of the sport.

Even if their principal contribution is shouting.

THE SPORTING DRESS CODE.

Naturally, such a prestigious activity requires suitable clothing.

Something that identifies the wearer's appreciation of agricultural competition.

Something appropriate for cooler weather.

Something comfortable enough for standing around an arena while two other people demonstrate questionable judgement.

And something that makes it immediately clear which sporting tradition is being supported.

Enter the Pumpkin Jousting back-print design.

Large orange lettering proudly announces PUMPKIN JOUSTING.

Beneath it sits a grinning jack-o'-lantern, backed by crossed white bones.

A cheerful sporting emblem.

With just enough menace to suggest that the event may not have passed a formal safety inspection.

The whole design looks like the official insignia of an ancient agricultural fighting order.

Which is extremely appropriate for a tradition whose historical records may have been written on a damp note somewhere near Myshkino.

THE HOODIE ITSELF.

The classic unisex fit offers comfortable everyday wear, while the soft fleece interior provides welcome warmth during cooler weather.

Ideal for watching a competition.

Waiting for your turn.

Standing around discussing the rules.

Or retreating to a safe distance when somebody announces that the next round will be more ambitious.

The double-lined hood offers additional warmth and a convenient place to hide your face when somebody you encouraged to participate immediately falls over.

The front pouch pocket is useful for everyday essentials.

Keys.

Phone.

Snacks.

A notebook containing the official rules.

Possibly a spare splint, although the Society recommends proper medical supplies rather than improvising something from the contents of a hoodie pocket.

Pictured in Black, the large orange and white back design gives the hoodie a bold, recognisable appearance.

Perfect for Bellends, MUFF members, DayZ enthusiasts, spectators, competitors and anyone who appreciates a sporting tradition that somehow manages to combine pumpkins, ceremonial combat and an entirely unreasonable amount of confidence.

THE FINAL SPORTING VERDICT.

Pumpkin Jousting is more than a game.

It is community.

It is tradition.

It is an excuse to gather people together and celebrate the extraordinary things that can happen when somebody introduces competitive rules to seasonal vegetables.

There will be winners.

There will be losers.

There will be arguments about the rules.

And there will almost certainly be somebody explaining that their defeat was caused by circumstances entirely beyond their control.

The Livonia Historical Society has reviewed the sport.

Its assessment is definitive.

PUMPKIN JOUSTING.

Seasonal combat.

Agricultural honour.

Deeply questionable sporting excellence.

And a remarkable opportunity to become historically significant for all the wrong reasons.

Disclaimers

Wearing this hoodie does not grant official Pumpkin Jousting authority.

It does not qualify the wearer as a referee.

It does not guarantee victory.

It does not improve balance.

It does not increase stick accuracy.

It does not prevent falls.

It does not improve pumpkin durability.

And it certainly does not guarantee that your opponent will remember the rules.

The jack-o'-lantern and crossed bones are decorative artwork and should not be interpreted as genuine protective equipment, an official sporting licence or evidence that Pumpkin Jousting has been approved by any recognised athletic governing body.

This product does not include pumpkins, sticks, ceremonial weapons, protective equipment, referees, medical supplies, splints, official rulebooks, guaranteed victories or MUFF membership.

The soft fleece interior provides warmth, not protection against blunt-force trauma.

The double-lined hood does not function as a safety helmet.

The front pouch pocket is not an approved pumpkin storage compartment.

The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for bruised pride, disputed results, unexpected falls, damaged vegetables, questionable sporting decisions or anyone announcing that their defeat should be overturned because the rules were unclear.

Pumpkin Jousting is a fictional in-game community tradition. The design does not encourage physical combat or unsafe activities in real life.

Due to fabric properties, a White colour variant, if offered, may appear off-white rather than bright white.

Do not use the hoodie as protective equipment during any physical contest.

Do not attempt to recreate the illustrated crossed bones.

Do not use the pouch pocket to transport a full-sized pumpkin.

And do not assume that shouting "IT'S TRADITION" removes the requirement to behave sensibly.

The sport is cultural.

The clothing is decorative.

The consequences of actual poor decisions remain entirely your responsibility.

Made to Order

This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order.

Unlike Pumpkin Jousting, where participants may be assembled with very little preparation and an alarming amount of confidence, each hoodie is manufactured on demand rather than produced in unnecessary quantities.

This means production and delivery may take a little longer, but it helps reduce overproduction, unwanted stock and warehouses filled with agricultural combat merchandise awaiting the next ceremonial tournament.

Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making a thoughtful purchasing decision.

The Livonia Historical Society has reviewed the process.

Your hoodie will be manufactured.

The pumpkin will remain decorative.

The crossed bones will remain part of the artwork.

And the official sporting rules will continue to be interpreted with varying degrees of confidence.
