Bob’s Lore accepts no responsibility for shirts that fit like a tent, cling like a bad decision, or restrict movement during Tuesday-related leg incidents.

Measure yourself, compare carefully, and remember: confidence is not a size.

If in doubt, size up. You can always look relaxed. You cannot always breathe.

Product Care

- Wash inside out with similar colours to protect the Pumpkin Jousting back print. The LHS considers damage to the official sporting emblem an avoidable cultural incident.
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, following the sewn-in care label. The garment is not required to participate in competitive agricultural combat during laundering.
- Use a mild detergent. Harsh chemicals are unnecessary, even when the results of the latest Pumpkin Jousting tournament remain disputed.
- Do not bleach. The orange lettering and grinning pumpkin should remain clearly visible for historical documentation.
- Hang dry where possible to preserve the T-shirt's shape and printed design, or tumble dry on low heat if permitted by the garment's care label.
- Do not iron directly over the Pumpkin Jousting artwork. Applying excessive heat to the pumpkin will not improve its competitive performance.
- If ironing is necessary, turn the garment inside out and use a low temperature suitable for the fabric blend, avoiding direct pressure on the print.
- Avoid washing with exposed zips, sharp objects or abrasive items that could damage the back artwork.
- Do not wash with sticks, carving tools, jousting equipment or loose pumpkins. The washing machine is not a recognised Pumpkin Jousting arena.
- Do not use the T-shirt as protective equipment during any physical competition.
- Do not attempt to remove the printed pumpkin and enter it into a tournament. The artwork is decorative and has no recognised sporting eligibility.
- If the print begins to fade, review your washing habits before accusing the referee of interfering with the official sporting emblem.
- Do not attempt to restore faded artwork by declaring an emergency Pumpkin Jousting tournament. The Society has found no evidence that agricultural combat improves textile maintenance.
- Do not use the T-shirt to transport actual pumpkins, sharpen sticks or clean up the aftermath of a disputed sporting result.
- If somebody asks why you're wearing a pumpkin with crossed bones, the LHS recommends explaining that it's an in-game sporting tradition rather than an invitation to engage in physical combat.
- If the garment shrinks, consult the care label before blaming the opposing competitor, an unexpected Tuesday or a disputed referee decision.
- Remember, sensible garment care preserves the artwork. Sensible sporting behaviour may preserve considerably more important things.
- The Livonia Historical Society accepts no responsibility for damaged prints, bruised pride, disputed victories, missing pumpkins or anyone discovering that Pumpkin Jousting is considerably more complicated than it first appears.
- Final maintenance classification: Pumpkin intact. Bones crossed. Sporting honour preserved. Dignity unconfirmed.

Agricultural Combat. Ceremonial Honour. Dignity Not Guaranteed.

Some sporting traditions are built on centuries of discipline.

Some celebrate strength, endurance and extraordinary athletic ability.

Some require years of training, expensive equipment and a detailed understanding of the rules.

And some begin when somebody looks at a pumpkin and decides it should be involved in a fight.

WELCOME TO PUMPKIN JOUSTING.

One of the finest examples of what happens when a community is given pumpkins, sticks, a little spare time and absolutely no meaningful supervision.

It is a sport.

It is a tradition.

It is a cultural institution.

And it is precisely the sort of activity that the Livonia Historical Society feels morally obligated to document.

Preferably from a safe distance.

THE SPORT OF AGRICULTURAL CHAMPIONS.

Throughout history, people have found increasingly creative ways to settle disputes.

Negotiation.

Diplomacy.

Debate.

Carefully organised competitions.

And occasionally, hitting each other with things until somebody falls over.

Pumpkin Jousting belongs firmly within the proud tradition of competitive nonsense.

The premise is remarkably simple.

Two competitors enter the arena.

Pumpkins are respected.

Sticks are raised.

Spectators gather.

And the usual standards of sensible behaviour are temporarily suspended.

LET THE JOUST BEGIN.

The precise details of victory may vary depending on the event, the competitors and whether anybody remembered to explain the rules beforehand.

Balance matters.

Timing matters.

Confidence matters.

And falling over in a particularly convincing manner is generally considered a significant competitive disadvantage.

Unless the fall was intentional.

In which case, further discussion may be required.

THE REFEREE'S DECISION IS FINAL.

Unless challenged by someone with a sufficiently loud voice.

THE LHS HISTORICAL RECORD.

The origins of Pumpkin Jousting are closely associated with Dug and the wider community's remarkable ability to invent sporting traditions that probably should not exist.

As part of the wider Bobes Lore cultural record, the activity has been documented by the Livonia Historical Society as a recognised form of agricultural competition.

Not because anybody requested formal recognition.

Not because a governing body was consulted.

And certainly not because the sport had demonstrated an acceptable safety record.

But because it happened.

People enjoyed it.

And somebody decided that calling it tradition made the whole thing considerably more respectable.

IT'S TRADITION.

A powerful statement.

Particularly when being used to justify something that probably shouldn't have happened.

Under normal circumstances, a historical society might investigate origins, consult witnesses and review available evidence before recognising a cultural practice.

The LHS has developed a more efficient approach.

Did something ridiculous happen?

Were there witnesses?

Did somebody laugh?

Can it be repeated?

If so, congratulations.

YOU MAY HAVE INVENTED A TRADITION.

Further paperwork is optional.

Although a plaque may eventually be required.

THE MYSHKINO GAMES.

Pumpkin Jousting became one of the celebrated activities associated with the Myshkino Unsupervised Fellowship Federation.

Better known as MUFF.

A travelling fraternal order built upon three essential principles.

Friendship.

Fellowship.

Fucking About.

The Three Fs.

A remarkably effective foundation for community events.

And an absolutely terrible foundation for convincing an insurance company that everything was properly organised.

Alongside other questionable recreational activities, Pumpkin Jousting provided an opportunity for competitors to demonstrate courage, enthusiasm and the ability to remain upright under pressure.

Some were successful.

Some were less successful.

Some may have discovered that competitive agricultural traditions are considerably more physically demanding than expected.

But everybody contributed to the cultural record.

Especially the people who fell over.

THEY ARE OFTEN THE MOST MEMORABLE.

THE RULES ARE VERY CLEAR.

Probably.

Pumpkin Jousting operates under a collection of established sporting principles.

Competitors should enter the arena.

They should understand that a contest is taking place.

They should attempt to win.

And they should ideally remain standing long enough for the spectators to understand what happened.

Within the MUFF sporting tradition, taking a knee may be used to signify submission.

A sensible development.

It creates a recognisable ending.

It allows an opponent to acknowledge defeat.

And it offers the referee a convenient method of determining whether somebody has surrendered.

Unfortunately, this raises an important question.

WHAT IF THE KNEE WASN'T TAKEN VOLUNTARILY?

Perhaps the competitor lost their balance.

Perhaps they became confused.

Perhaps something happened to their legs.

Perhaps somebody shouted "take a knee" and they misunderstood the instruction.

These are matters requiring careful consideration.

The Livonia Historical Society recommends that any disputes be resolved through calm discussion.

Or another round.

Whichever seems funnier.

THE PUMPKIN ITSELF.

Of course, no account of Pumpkin Jousting would be complete without acknowledging the most important participant.

The pumpkin.

A noble vegetable.

Technically a fruit.

But nobody wants to complicate the sporting regulations with botanical arguments.

It is round.

It is orange.

It is culturally significant.

And it has somehow become the centrepiece of a competitive event.

The LHS has considered whether pumpkins should receive official sporting recognition.

Proposals have included registration numbers, ceremonial inspections and individual certificates of agricultural suitability.

Unfortunately, the administrative burden quickly became unreasonable.

Somebody suggested that each pumpkin should be given a name.

Somebody else suggested awarding the winning pumpkin a medal.

And before long, the Society found itself discussing whether a vegetable could hold an honorary title.

The matter was suspended.

THE PUMPKIN REMAINS UNREGISTERED.

Its sporting importance, however, is undisputed.

THE TUESDAY QUESTION.

Naturally, any activity involving sticks, questionable balance and enthusiastic competitors raises an important concern.

Is this Tuesday?

The answer is no.

Not automatically.

Pumpkin Jousting is its own established tradition.

With its own sporting rules.

Its own cultural significance.

And its own opportunities for somebody to make an exceptionally poor decision.

However, the similarities are difficult to ignore.

Both traditions involve trust.

Both involve unexpected developments.

Both have the potential to leave somebody on the ground questioning their friendships.

And both are usually considerably more entertaining for the witnesses.

The LHS therefore recognises Pumpkin Jousting as Tuesday-adjacent.

Not officially Tuesday.

Not legally Tuesday.

And not a valid excuse to disregard the established Tuesday rules.

But sufficiently close that somebody should probably check the splint supply before the competition begins.

THE MEDICAL DEPARTMENT HAS BEEN INFORMED.

It has not necessarily agreed to attend.

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE AUDIENCE.

Every great sport needs spectators.

People to cheer.

People to encourage.

People to provide tactical advice from a position of absolutely no personal danger.

And people who will confidently explain the rules despite having discovered them approximately thirty seconds earlier.

Pumpkin Jousting is no different.

The crowd is essential.

Without witnesses, how would anybody know who won?

Who would settle disputes?

Who would laugh when somebody fell over?

And most importantly, who would provide the Livonia Historical Society with wildly inconsistent accounts of what actually happened?

The Society considers spectators a vital part of the sporting tradition.

Even if their principal contribution is shouting.

THE OFFICIAL SPORTING EMBLEM.

Which brings us to the design.

The back features bold PUMPKIN JOUSTING lettering in orange, styled with a medieval-inspired appearance suitable for such a prestigious agricultural competition.

Beneath the text sits a grinning jack-o'-lantern.

Behind it, crossed white bones.

A cheerful little sporting emblem.

With just enough menace to suggest that the activity may have involved an unfortunate incident.

The artwork captures everything that makes Pumpkin Jousting culturally significant.

Seasonal enthusiasm.

Competitive spirit.

Questionable judgement.

And the comforting knowledge that somebody has probably checked where the nearest splints are kept.

THIS IS AGRICULTURAL SPORTING HERITAGE.

Or at least the closest thing we're likely to get.

THE WEARABLE TOURNAMENT UNIFORM.

The women's semi-fitted cut follows the body's natural lines without feeling tight, offering comfortable everyday wear.

Its soft, lightweight feel makes it ideal for casual outfits, gaming sessions, community events and spectating at a perfectly ridiculous in-game sporting tournament.

Wear it on its own or layer it beneath a jacket.

Although the Livonia Historical Society recommends occasionally revealing the back print so fellow Bellends can identify your commitment to agricultural competition.

Pictured in Black, the T-shirt provides a striking background for the orange lettering, grinning pumpkin and crossed white bones.

Perfect for competitors.

Perfect for spectators.

Perfect for MUFF members.

And perfect for anybody who believes that seasonal vegetables deserve their own ceremonial combat tradition.

THE FINAL SPORTING ASSESSMENT.

Two competitors.

One arena.

Several questionable rules.

One extremely important pumpkin.

And an entire gaggle of Bellends prepared to declare the outcome historically significant.

PUMPKIN JOUSTING.

Seasonal combat.

Agricultural honour.

Deeply questionable sporting excellence.

And absolutely no guarantee that dignity will survive the opening round.

Context provided. Pumpkins not learned.

Its soft, lightweight feel makes it ideal for casual outfits, gaming sessions, community events and layering beneath a jacket.

Disclaimers

Wearing this T-shirt does not grant official Pumpkin Jousting authority.

It does not qualify the wearer as a referee.

It does not guarantee victory.

It does not improve balance.

It does not increase stick accuracy.

It does not prevent falls.

It does not improve pumpkin durability.

And it certainly does not guarantee that your opponent will remember the rules.

The jack-o'-lantern and crossed bones are decorative artwork and should not be interpreted as genuine protective equipment, an official sporting licence or evidence that Pumpkin Jousting has been approved by any recognised athletic governing body.

This product does not include pumpkins, sticks, ceremonial weapons, protective equipment, referees, medical supplies, splints, official rulebooks, guaranteed victories or MUFF membership.

The lightweight fabric does not provide protection against blunt-force trauma, unexpected Tuesdays, infected attacks or poor decisions.

The semi-fitted cut does not improve your competitive performance.

And the printed pumpkin has absolutely no authority to resolve disputed sporting results.

The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for bruised pride, disputed victories, unexpected falls, damaged vegetables, questionable sporting decisions or anyone announcing that their defeat should be overturned because the rules were unclear.

Pumpkin Jousting is a fictional in-game community tradition. The design does not encourage physical combat or unsafe activities in real life.

Due to fabric properties, a White colour variant, if offered, may appear off-white rather than bright white.

Do not use the T-shirt as protective equipment during any physical contest.

Do not attempt to recreate the illustrated crossed bones.

Do not use the garment to carry actual pumpkins into battle.

And do not assume that shouting "IT'S TRADITION" removes the requirement to behave sensibly.

The sport is cultural.

The clothing is decorative.

The consequences of actual poor decisions remain entirely your responsibility.

Made to Order

This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order.

Unlike Pumpkin Jousting, where participants may be assembled with very little preparation and an alarming amount of confidence, each T-shirt is manufactured on demand rather than produced in unnecessary quantities.

This means production and delivery may take a little longer, but it helps reduce overproduction, unwanted stock and warehouses filled with agricultural combat merchandise awaiting the next ceremonial tournament.

Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making a thoughtful purchasing decision.

The Livonia Historical Society has reviewed the process.

Your T-shirt will be manufactured.

The pumpkin will remain decorative.

The crossed bones will remain part of the artwork.

And the official sporting rules will continue to be interpreted with varying degrees of confidence.
